Cela dépasse tout simplement l’entendement. Après avoir levé 6 millions de dollars pour financer sa start-up, et recruté 10 personnes aux Etats-Unis, le CEO de Zemanta se voit refuser sa demande de renouvellement de visa et doit rentrer en Slovénie.

Zemanta CEO Bostjan Spetic dreams of being back in New York City.

His company Zemanta Ltd. is experiencing success here, having recently raised an additional $3 million to grow its New York-based team. The problem is that visa troubles are keeping Spetic back in his home country of Slovenia.

Spetic has been in the U.S. for about a year, but his visa extension request was denied two weeks ago soon after receiving the funding. He’s now trying to figure out how to reapply.
